Job Description Department:  Clinical Services: Provider Entity:  Team members affiliated with Joint Ventures **Job Relationships** Responsible to: Medical Director, Associate Medical Director Assignments received from: Medical Director, Associate Medical Director Positions supervised: None **Job Summary** Physicians independently perform a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections and are also responsible for selecting and utilizing appropriate diagnostics and/or therapeutic procedures for patients.  **Job Requirements** Education \- Graduate of an accredited medical school _required_ Work Experience * 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience _required_ * Minimum 18 months experience in applicable practice setting _required_ * Adult and pediatric practice experience  strongly _preferred_ Required Licenses/Certifications \- Board Certified or Board Eligible by an ABMS member board or AOA specialty board in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine \- Active state medical licensure Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required \- Experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting \- Applicable office procedures including but not limited to suturing, splinting, etc.  Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred \- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records      \- Ability to be attentive with strong listening skills \- Strong communication and customer service skills  **Essential Functions** _Essential functions are those tasks, duties and responsibilities that comprise the means of accomplishing the job’s purpose and objectives.
