This role is responsible for designing, building, automating, and supporting modern cloud-based infrastructure and applications that power critical business services. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering skills with expertise in cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, CI/CD practices, and platform operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence while driving automation-first solutions across the technology stack. Candidates should possess strong development experience, hands-on cloud expertise, and a passion for building resilient, highly automated environments. **Reporting Relationships** **Reports To:** Crew Lead, Cloud / DevOps / Operations **Direct Reports:** None **Primary Functions & Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain software solutions, cloud infrastructure, and automation capabilities that support business and technology objectives. * Build and manage cloud-native infrastructure leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies. * Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery and improve deployment reliability. * Support enterprise platforms and applications through advanced Level 3 production support and incident resolution. * Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure platform health and operational stability. * Partner with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions. * Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency. * Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. * Contribute to system architecture discussions and technical decision-making. * Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and platform resiliency initiatives. * Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to improve engineering capabilities. **Required Qualifications** **Experience** * 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. * 2+ years of experience working within a large-scale enterprise environment. * Experience designing, developing, and supporting distributed applications and services. * Experience working within Agile and DevOps-focused delivery organizations. * Demonstrated experience across the software development lifecycle, from design through production support. * Full-stack development experience is preferred. **Technical Skills** * Proficiency in two or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or similar. * Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure. * Experience with source control platforms including GitHub and/or GitLab. * Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tooling. * Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment. * Experience using Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies. * Experience with monitoring and observability tools. * Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating environments. * Experience working with Jira or other Agile project management and issue-tracking platforms. **Professional Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. * Demonstrated ownership mentality with a focus on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement. * Strong commitment to operational excellence and customer service. **Preferred Qualifications** * Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, or equivalent). * Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance requirements. * Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical production systems. * Experience with automated testing frameworks and DevSecOps practices. * Financial services industry experience is a plus. **Reporting Relationships** Global Head of Infrastructure and Platform Engineering **Compensation** The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role. $200,000 - $225,000 The firm also offers robust Benefits offerings.
