Through our recruitment, career development and employee-focused programming, we are committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive work environment where high-performance talent of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives can build careers within this exciting and growing industry._ **Job Description** **APAC:** _Preparation of Tax Computation Workpapers (particular focus on **India tax returns**)_ * Liaise with internal teams (Fund Accounting / Investment Ops) to gather the financial and tax data required for workpaper preparation, including bank schedules, investment schedules, tax payment/TDS records, capital gains tax calculations and other sources of information * Compile and perform reconciliation based on these various sources of data  * Prepare tax schedules pursuant to applicable tax regulations * Maintain a repository of international transactions and monitor information reporting obligations * Maintain documentation for carried forward losses, TDS and advance taxes * Prepare computation of income * Coordinate with statutory auditors and external tax advisors * Provide assistance on transfer pricing study _Documentation & Recordkeeping_ * Ensure documentation supports positions taken in returns * Implement version control and audit trails for tax workpapers * Conduct periodic internal checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of filings * Maintain tax query tracker for tax authorities queries across Asia **US:** From time to time, the candidate will work closely with tax principals on US tax related projects **Reporting Relationships** Controller _There is no set deadline to apply for this job opportunity.
