In addition, employment at the College provides employees with access to numerous discounts for products, services, and attractions. **Position Summary** **Basic Function** Assistant to softball coach in all aspects of an Old Dominion Athletic Conference Division III women’s softball program **Duties and Responsibilities** Specific Responsibilities: • Assist the head coach in day to day operations of the team and program • Assist in practice planning and Softball field set up • Assist in positional instruction as defined by the head coach • Evaluate post practice and game situations • Assist in recruiting • Coordinate team travel with head coach supervision • Other related duties as assigned **Minimum Qualifications** Coaching experience of at least 5 years required. **Preferred Qualifications** Skills and Qualifications: Collegiate playing or previous collegiate or high school coaching experience of at least five years required.
