Wash Rack Operator

With unmatched resources and a strong commitment to safety and integrity, we deliver reliable, high-quality service to customers across the U.S. We are currently hiring an **Wash Rack Operator** to work at our **Buchanan Landfill Facility** in **Midland, TX.**  In this job, you will be working outside in all weather conditions. This is a local job with no travel and no per diem. We offer family benefits, 401k, and paid vacation. **Pay Range:** $19-$21/hr. **Schedule:** * Day Shift position working a **7 Days On 7 Days Off Schedule**. We also have **NIGHT SHIFT!** * The working hours are 7 am to 7 pm for Day Shift and 7 pm to 7 am for Night Shift. **Key Responsibilities:** * Primary job is to wash the inside of vacuum trucks, equipments, vehicles, or machinery using specialized washing systems and tools * Occasional labor work with shovel and picks up trash around facility  * Occasional housekeeping around facility (painting/ lawn work)  * Use and maintain required PPE in accordance with company policies and procedures * Work effectively as part of a team and support other operations as needed * Safely work in varying outdoor weather conditions **Qualifications:** * Ability to learn and operate site-specific equipment independently * Strong commitment to safety and teamwork * Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions **What We Offer:** * Competitive hourly pay * Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) * Paid time off (PTO) * A safety-first, team-driven work environment * Career development and advancement opportunities **Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
