Passion for Life was created to be a high-energy and engaging process that helps students identify their passions and gain clarity on how to utilize their core strengths and talents to select a career. ### Who you are We’re looking for a highly organized and creative marketing professional to own website presence—from strategy and planning through day-to-day execution and deadline management. You’ll work closely with our dedicated team to ensure content is compelling, consistent, and aligned with our mission. This role blends big-picture thinking with hands-on execution to grow our community, increase our presence and engagement, that helps drive donor acquisition. ### What you gain * Shape marketing digital strategy and own media presence * Gain valuable experience in nonprofit development and digital communications * Make a meaningful impact on the lives of underserved communities * Increase your networking opportunities and collaborate with a knowledgeable Team * Boost your untapped potential and master new skills * Flexible scheduling and potential for recommendation letters or internship credit * Fully remote, make a difference from the comfort of your home ### Your role * Manage/own our website, marketing initiatives and day-to-day activities * Develop relevant content to reach and engage with organization’s target markets * Design content strategy for web, email, and social media marketing, including SEO * Deliver strong, engaging content to multiple audiences that drives web traffic, audience engagement and brand awareness * Write, edit, and refine digital copy to ensure consistent message * Revise and optimize dated content using information gathered in SEO research * Analyze performance metrics and deliver timely reporting with data-driven insights * Recommend and implement new and innovative marketing methods * Stay up-to-date with digital media technologies and latest trends * Delegate, review and edit content production, including conceptualizing the projects upfront, assigning projects and overseeing development * Monitor and track discussion topics for the management team. Report trends and recommended actions * Prepare reports to update internal staff on usage statistics ### Your skills * Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or currently pursuing * 3-5 years experience in one or more of the following areas; Marketing management, Graphic design, digital marketing, content development, public relations * Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) * Copy writing and content management experience * Leading, collaborating with, and managing a team * Self-starter willing to take initiative and own projects * Demonstrates effectiveness in meetings and task forces * Ability to interface with all levels of the organization (both internal and external) * Excellent storytelling, written and verbal communication skills * Effective project management and time management skills are critical * High energy, self-starter, highly motivated with high-degree of flexibility * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present ideas and information clearly * Extreme attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills Time Commitment: 10-15 hours a week on a flexible schedule that works with your life.
