Workscope Planner

Workscope Planner GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES) is a full-service engine overhaul and repair station located at the Helsinki International Airport in Vantaa. GATES provides comprehensive commercial engine services including repair and overhaul services for General Electric and CFM International engines. We are looking for a diligent and solution‑oriented Workscope Planner to join our dynamic and steadily growing jet engine MRO organization. In this role, you will plan engine maintenance workscopes by reviewing maintenance history, inspection reports and customer requirements, provide clear work instructions to production teams and prepare summary reports of maintenance visits. You will also ensure compliance with internal processes and aviation authority regulations while applying your technical expertise to meet customer and regulatory expectations. Key responsibilities Create the workscope for jet engine repair visits according to customer needs and OEM/CAA Maintain, update and ensure the timely availability of work instructions and technical documentation Creating jet engine serial structures and equipment repair orders in the ERP system Supporting production and customer support teams with maintenance and repair instructions Informing and supporting stakeholders on jet engine modifications and configurations. Support and participate in the development of planning processes in terms of reporting, processes and guidelines Preparation of final engine maintenance documentation Other tasks related to maintenance planning The ideal candidate has Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent aviation industry experience Technical background in mechanical, industrial or aviation-related fields Experience with ERP systems Strong English language skills, Finnish skills are considered as an advantage Strong IT skills and proficiency in MS Office Excellent collaboration and organizational abilities Ability to present complex technical information clearly to different audiences Attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset Experience with OEM maintenance manuals considered an advantage Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced production environment As an employer we offer: A challenging and meaningful role in a highly specialized technical environment Opportunities for professional growth and development A collaborative and supportive team culture The opportunity to contribute to critical aviation maintenance operations Comprehensive occupational health services Cultural and sports benefits and bicycle benefits Various personnel events Personnel discounts, e.g. for companies operating in the airport area The starting salary for this position is 2,979€/month, according to the applicable Collective Agreement for Salaried Employees in Air Traffic. In addition, employees may be eligible for a personal performance-based add-on in accordance with the collective agreement.
