**Workshop Cleaner – Luton** **Location:** Luton **Hours:** 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday **Pay:** £14.18 per hour Join Arriva and play an important role in keeping our workshop clean, safe, and well-organised. As a Workshop Cleaner, you'll help maintain a high standard of cleanliness across our engineering facilities, ensuring a safe and professional working environment for our teams. **Key Responsibilities** * Carry out general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining workshop floors, offices, welfare facilities, and communal areas. * Clean and sanitise workshop equipment, tools, and machinery where required. * Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in line with company procedures and environmental guidelines. * Clean, replenish, and maintain toilets, washrooms, and changing facilities. * Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards, or damaged equipment to the Workshop Supervisor. * Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly. * Follow all company health and safety policies and safe working practices. * Assist with the movement and organisation of workshop materials and parts when required. * Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping across all assigned areas. **What We're Looking For** * Previous cleaning experience, ideally within an industrial, engineering, or workshop environment, is desirable but not essential. * Knowledge of cleaning products and their safe use. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail. * Good understanding of health and safety practices. * Physically capable of carrying out manual cleaning duties and lifting moderate loads where required. * Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards. * Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively. **What We Offer** * Competitive pay of **£14.18 per hour**. * **40-hour working week**, Monday to Friday, promoting a healthy work-life balance with no weekend working. * The opportunity to join one of the UK's leading transport operators. * A supportive team environment with ongoing training and development opportunities.   If you're hardworking, dependable, and take pride in maintaining a clean and safe workplace, we'd love to hear from you.
