Yard Laborer

**Cascade Disposal,** a Waste Connections company is looking for a _safety_ conscious **Yard Laborer** to join the team in **Bend, Oregon**. . **Schedule:** **Monday - Friday, Starting 6:00am.** Generally 8-11hrs. Occasional Saturdays. . **Driver's License Required: Must have a clean driving record.** **MUST PASS:** * **DOT drug screening** * **Criminal background check** * **Motor vehicle record screening** **.** **Competitive Compensation:  Starting Pay $23/hr + DOE** * Yearly Safety Bonuses $$$ * Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits. * 401K Match Program * Uniforms/Safety Gear Provided and Laundered. * Yearly Boot allowances * Overtime * Stable Year Round, Full Time work. . DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  * Manual labor including paper picking, keeping yard clean and presentable.  * Washing, repairing, and assembling trash bins and containers * Traffic management.  * Perform yard work including cutting weeds.  * Perform general office maintenance and repairs including painting and janitorial work.  * Working outside in all weather conditions.  * Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.  * Operates skid steer and forklift. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:  * Work involves constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises  * Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.  * Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.  .
