About the job

Key responsibilities:
1\. Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
2\. Prepare and process sales and purchase invoices.
3\. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
4\. Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
5\. Prepare payment vouchers and process vendor payments.
6\. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
7\. Prepare GST/TDS-related documentation and support statutory compliance (India).

A. Required skills:
1\. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
2\. Experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books.
3\. Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
4\. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
5\. Strong analytical and numerical skills.
6\. Good communication and organizational skills.
B. Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in commerce (B.Com), accounting, finance, or a related field.
MBA (finance) or M.Com is an added advantage.
